Curtis Farms in Wilton, New Hampshire is one venue that welcomes us at Celebrations Catering as one of their primary caterers. The weddings we do there are pulled off professionally under HUGE tents with amazing views. We pull up with a caravan of trucks filled to the ceilings with food, alcohol and decorations. Our mobile kitchen is always at-the-ready. We can fire things off in the back of the huge box truck (you can’t miss this thing, it’s like a mobile billboard!) and whip out our enormous 8 foot char-grills. From frying to baking to grilling, we can create a culinary feast to fit everyone’s tastes.
Check out some of the amazing pictures I grabbed while setting up for the big event.
What’s a wedding without a centerpiece? This one is complete with table numbers. For a wedding this size, being organized is key.
My brother and I were center-stage as we both carved New York Strip Steak and Jamaican Jerk Marinated Pork Loin, complete with mango chutney and horseradish sauce. Of course, we can’t forget the sides!
Throughout the evening, we offered up all sorts of nosh-materials. This Anti-pasta station kept people busy with all sorts of choices; from grilled marinated vegetables to cured meats and spreads, there was something for everybody.
Hummus and pita on display.
Cheese-filled Tortellini skewers, both time consuming to create yet adorable to look at.
Even the kids got their own “Happy Meals” filled with kid-friendly fodder to munch on.
Who needs a DJ when you can have a “Gypsy Marching Band”? These people jammed while everyone, yes everyone, danced the afternoon away.
Did I hear someone request a blurry pony? This picture reminds me of the cheesy pictures of Sasquatch back in the day. Of course, this pony was real, I fed it a carrot.
You just can’t beat these New England views. Food always tastes better with an old rusty farm tractor buried in wild flowers nearby.
